Saint George’s Dinner
All Saints Bedford provides shepherd’s pies and servers for St. George’s soup kitchen 3 times a year.
We depend on the generosity of our parishioners to provide volunteers and monetary donations for this outreach program.
there is a team that coordinates the dates and volunteers and liaisons with St. Georges’s.
For each dinner we need people to shop for the ingredients to make the pies, folks to make the pies, and volunteers to go to St. George’s to help setting the dinning room, serve the pies, and cleanup afterwards. These are the ways you can participate in this outreach venture. It is very rewarding to know that you made a difference in the life of someone who is hungry.
This year our “dinner dates” are Saturday March 21st, 2026, Saturday May 2nd, 2026, and Saturday October 24th, 2026.
Please consider making a monetary donation or volunteering to help with these dinners. In the Narthex you will find Envelopes for donations and 3 – 4 weeks prior to each “dinner date” there will be sign-up sheets for volunteering. If you would like to be part of the coordinating team please let us know.
